The City of Henderson, North Carolina is responsible for infrastructure operation, maintenance, evaluation, rehabilitation and improvement of water distribution piping, sewer collection piping, water and sewer pumping stations, water storage facilities, raw water reservoirs with pumping facilities, water treatment facilities, water reclamation facilities, storm water systems, streets, public buildings, development services. The City is creating a list of qualified on-call professional service providers to assist with the timely development, oversight, and completion of various municipal projects.
The Department is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms specializing in professional engineering/consultant services related to stormwater/transportation projects, water/wastewater projects, and the evaluation, permitting, design, construction, and rehabilitation of infrastructure and facilities. Projects may involve water supply, treatment, and distribution; wastewater collection and treatment; pumping systems; surveying; streets, storm water conveyance, storm water BMPs, regulatory compliance, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, building systems and evaluation, and technological support.
